Eric Barbier
President and Board member

Eric is the President of PayTop, a French FinTech. He is also the CEO of TripleA, a crypto payment gateway regulated by MAS, Singapore’s Central Bank. Eric is also on the board of STC PAY, the neo bank of STC, the largest mobile network in Saudi Arabia. In 2006, he founded TransferTo (now Thunes and DT One), the global mobile payment network interconnecting financial institutions, merchants and mobile operators in Emerging Markets which has been acquired later on by Ingenico, the leading payment solutions provider. Before TransferTo, he co-founded Mobile 365, the global mobile messaging hub. Mobile 365 was acquired by Sybase (now SAP) in 2006. Eric holds a Master’s Degree in Information Technology.

Martin Bouffard

Martin is specialised in restructuring banking and financial institutions. After having managed Natixis in Germany and Asia-Pacific, he was appointed Deputy CEO of Banque Wormser. He also set up his own advisory company dedicated to banks of emerging countries before joining Paytop in 2019. Martin is fluent in German and English. He loves sharing his tenacity and curiosity with the current and future players of the payment industry.

Laurent Pras is Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole Payment Services, in charge of development, since 2019. He began his career in corporate sales and financing at Compagnie Bancaire before joining the Banque Publique d’Investissement (BPI).
In 2004, he took charge of financing subsidiaries specializing in public infrastructure and energy savings within the Crédit Agricole Group.

Appointed Commercial Director of Crédit Agricole Leasing in 2008, he joined the Touraine Poitou Regional Bank in 2011 as Director of Networks and Specialised Clients, before taking up the position of Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Regional Bank.

Eric Caen has been the Chief Digital Officer of the Crédit Agricole S.A. Group since November 2020. He is responsible for the digital strategy, data and artificial intelligence, and digital innovation. Eric Caen is the co-founder of the Titus Interactive video game group (1985-2005). He led Glowria, a specialist in video-on-demand services, and helped McDonald’s (2011-2015), Vimpelcom (2015-2016) and CMA-CGM (2017-2018) to accelerate their digital transformations.

Self-taught, Eric was named Entrepreneur of the Year France by Ernst & Young in 1998 and created the digital transformation index for French blue-chip (CAC40) companies, published by Forbes in June 2017 and November 2019.
